Developer Portal

The opportunity

Code42 built new tools to help customers integrate with their platform and automate tasks. The resources for these tools were available on separate sites. The goals:

  • Provide a central place from which users could review and choose from the available tools

  • Strengthen Code42’s reputation as a leader in the security space

My role

I was the primary content designer for this project.

The process

I provided content and helped the team structure the information in an easily consumable, scannable way. I reviewed and edited the content in collaboration with engineers, product owners, and executive staff.

The result

We delivered developer.code42.com on a tight timeline, providing a central place from which users could review and choose an option that works well with their existing technology ecosystem. This site is linked from the primary navigation of the corporate website and support portal, increasing visibility into these developer resources. One of the developers provided this feedback: “the content is well thought‐out and easy to consume”.
